Providing exceptional theological education rooted in the rich heritage of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
Established in 1976 under the auspices of Abune Yohannes, St. Frumentius Theological College (SFTC) has been dedicated to providing theological education and training for clergy within the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
Our college, named "Kessate Berhan Selama" (revealer of light and the father of peace), honors St. Frumentius, the first Archbishop of Ethiopia, and continues his legacy of spiritual enlightenment.
We combine rigorous academic study with spiritual formation, preparing disciples for service in the Church and wider community.
